Whitney Port Introduces Her New ‘City’ Co-Star: Roxy Olin
‘We’ve had our fair share of disagreements,’ Port says of her friend, co-worker and roommate.

New episodes of “The City” are upon us, and in addition to the familiar faces of Olivia Palermo and Kelly Cutrone, there’s a new girl in town: Roxy Olin.
“Well, Roxy is my friend from home,” Whitney Port explained to MTV News. “We went to high school together and we were on the dance team together and we kind of lost touch once we graduated high school. But she decided to move to New York and got in touch with me and we had a little reunion.”
Although Port is excited to have a friendly face joining her on the show, she does know that it isn’t always going to be easy for the two of them to make their friendship work. “It is great right now, but obviously because we are so different,” she said. “You know, she’s very outspoken and a little bit of a wild child. I’m more, like, reserved and easygoing and so we’ve had our fair share of disagreements — and we also balance each other out.”
Spending so much time with someone — at work, at home and out on the down — can put a strain on any relationship, so Port is learning how to be a friend, roommate and co-worker to Roxy. “[Roxy] and I are currently living together and you see how that can be a strain — you know, working together, living together,” she said. “There’s definitely a lot that comes with that.”
